Celebrate Recovery

When many of us hear the word recovery, we think it only involves those struggling with drugs and alcohol. The Bible clearly states in Romans 3:23 that "we have all sinned." None of us are guiltless. Because of sin, we've all hurt ourselves, we've all hurt other people, and others have hurt us.

Come and join Celebrate Recovery in the River Campus Chapel at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday evenings.

Rez at the Fair

to Sep 29

Rez at the Fair

Rez Community Engagement Team will be at the Kern County Fair. The CET goes where people are, not waiting for them to come to our Downtown or River Campus. We intentionally position ourselves in locations and at events knowing that people will visit/attend; and that God desires to connect with them, and invites us to be part of His restoration. We desire that the song of our lives sing of His steadfast love and transformative work that we have experienced firsthand. And that no barrier, no obstacle can stop His adamant, unwavering, resolute pursuit of us. Understanding that the treasure of God’s kingdom is people, all people. We are the servants that He calls to seek out the misfits, the left outs, the jacked ups, the rich, the poor, the homeless, the old, the young, the widows, the orphans, the friendless, the helpless, the hopeless, the “too- far gone,” the broken, the captives, the teen moms, the trafficked, His beloveds. We will have a booth to share info about our Church, campuses, and ministries.
