Rez Cultural Values

Our goal is to worship God and work faithfully at the things Jesus left for us to do, becoming more like Him in the process.

As a church, we believe that doing this together will produce the following things that we call "Gospel-culture"

Gospel Culture:

Identity > Growth > Community > Impact

1. Identity

Believers are God's treasured possessions; sons and daughters of the King. We must realize this new identity by living dynamic, Spirit-led lives with entirely new priorities and standards.

2. Growth

We want to be urgent to grow; becoming more like Christ in gentleness and love, while growing deeper in our study of and obedience to God and His word.

3. Community

We want our church body to represent the same diversity in age, cultures, and perspectives as our city, but love each other even in our differences so genuinely that it is inexplicable apart from the power of Christ.

4. Impact

We want to be known for vulnerably living out the Gospel in everyday relationships to make a Kingdom impact in our circles of influence, neighborhoods, workplaces, and families.

These values inform and shape our decision making and methodology as a church. They tell us what we will say "yes" to, and what we will decline to pursue. Our values are a combination of things that currently describe our church culture as well as things we aspire to accomplish for the glory of God.
