The coffee shop and breezeway open at 9:15 AM for Coffee Connections, thirty minutes before service begins.
The conversations that happen over coffee before service are where a lot of stories here actually started. Come early. Show up before you're ready. You won't regret it.
Some people pick up the idea that you have to have it together before you walk through a church door. That you need to clean up first. Figure out what you believe first. Belong somewhere before you show up.
That's not how it works here.
Rez is built around a simple conviction: real change happens in real relationships, not in a crowd of strangers. We're a community of people from every corner of Bakersfield who believe that being known by someone, actually known, not just recognized, is one of the most transformative things that can happen to a person.

Right after service, same building, no need to come back later in the week.
Grounded
Most people carry a faith they've never had time to examine. Grounded is six weeks on what you believe, why it holds, and what it changes about Monday morning, whether you've followed Jesus for six days or sixty years. Sundays at 11:15 AM.

How long is the service?
About 75 minutes.
What should I wear?
We love a casual and relaxed environment! We just ask that you keep your outfit family-friendly for the sake of all our guests
Is there somewhere for my kids?
Yes. Rez Kidz is available during the service for children through 6th grade.
Where do I park?
Free parking is available on site. Turn on Denise Ave off of Manor St. and take the first right into the parking lot. The main entrance is clearly marked from there.
Is the building accessible?
Yes. Rez Church is wheelchair accessible. Make an immediate left for our Accessible Parking Lot and Ramp.
