Every year, Rez goes to Thrive, a leadership conference at Bayside Church in Sacramento built around one conviction: healthy leaders build healthy churches, and healthy churches change cities. The sessions are sharp, the speakers are worth the trip, and you'll leave with things you'll actually use.
But that's not the whole story.
THE THING THAT ACTUALLY CHANGES YOU ISN’T WHAT HAPPENS ON THE STAGE
It's the drive up where the conversation gets honest because there's nothing else to do. It's the meal after the first day when somebody at the table says something they've never said out loud before and the whole table leans in. It's the late night back at the hotel or the Airbnb you booked together when nobody wants to call it because something is happening and everyone can feel it.
