Build 2026
Responding to Gospel Growth
“34 Sunday Morning Salvations
65 Baptisms
270 First-Time Guests
56 Adults in Deep Mentoring
ReGeneration Recovery Ministry Launched
REZ Pastoral Residency Ready to Launch”
God is moving at REZ Church. This year, 34 people declared faith in Jesus for the first time. 65 went into the baptismal waters. 270 families walked through our doors as first-time guests. Fifty-six adults committed to two years of deep mentoring. We launched ReGeneration recovery ministry to reach the broken and hurting.
This is the good problem we've been praying for.
But here's the reality: Gospel growth requires faithful response. When God brings the harvest, we need laborers, systems, and resources to steward what He's entrusted to us. That's why we're launching Build 2026.
What We Are Asking You To Prayerfully Consider
1 For those partnered with us financially, please pray about an end of year, above and beyond gift.
2 For those who are not yet tithing consistently, please pray about committing to tithe moving forward and throughout 2026
What Your Generosity Builds
Your year-end gift will sustain the infrastructure that turns first-time guests into disciple-makers:
-
From first-time guest to salvation to baptism to mentoring to leadership
-
Engaging the 145,000 people living within 10 minutes of our campus
-
Expanding our reach to those struggling with addiction and brokenness
-
Supporting 56 adults in two-year mentoring relationships that produce future mentors
-
Training the next generation of church planters and revitalizers to reach neighborhoods beyond ours
The Honest Reality
This level of Gospel growth has strained our financial resources. We've made difficult staffing decisions to maintain fiscal responsibility. The Financial Stewardship Team and Elders have implemented new accountability structures to ensure we're faithful with what God has entrusted to us.
“We’re not asking you to fix a problem. We’re inviting you to respond to what God is already doing.”
From Broken to Whole
At REZ, we believe real spiritual change happens in small groups, in intimate settings, over long periods of time. That's why we're building systems, not just running programs. When someone walks through our doors for the first time, we want them to find a clear pathway:
Guest → Salvation → Baptism → Community → Mentoring → Leading Others
Your generosity builds what happens between those steps. The coffee conversations. The small group discussions. The mentoring relationships. The recovery meetings. The pastoral training. The neighborhood connections.
“This is how Gospel culture gets built.”

Your Response Matters
Gospel growth is God's blessing and our responsibility. He's brought 34 salvations, 65 baptisms, and 270 new guests. He's raised up 56 people hungry for deep discipleship. He's opened the door for a Pastoral Residency that will multiply our impact beyond Bakersfield.
Now He's asking: How will you respond?
Pray about a special year-end gift beyond your regular giving. Ask God how He wants you to participate in what He's building at REZ. Then give sacrificially before December 31.
“Let’s build the infrastructure for sustained Kingdom impact together.”
